Press release: Navarra region hospitals (Spain) select Qaelum quality control through FUJIFILM

Qaelum – March 3, 2016 – To support its quality assurance, five hospitals in Spain’s Navarra region jointly selected the Total Quality Monitoring DOSE solution of Qaelum. This agreement involving hospitals in Estella, Pamplona and Tudela has been closed by FUJIFIM Spain – a Qaelum reseller. Using the DOSE software, the hospitals realise efficient dose registration, quality indicators, and compliance reporting.
These five hospitals jointly arranged the agreement with FUJIFILM Spain concerning the purchase of the DOSE software of Qaelum. This agreement comes after other recent commercial success achieved by FUJIFILM Spain and Qaelum, including agreements with hospitals located in Madrid and Santiago de Compostela.
The DOSE software allows for automatically monitoring patient dosimetry received from the X-ray and CT equipment across the hospitals. The software forms the foundation of the daily quality related activities, additionally providing automatic reporting and a framework for applied trainings. By managing the massive amounts of data, DOSE offers great opportunity to further investigate and improve many important quality related aspects. The Qaelum solution – and in particular the operational parameters from DOSE – are expected to have a positive impact on flexibility, efficiency and productivity.
This multi-hospital deal in Spain, among other projects across Europe, underlines the targeted and efficient collaboration between supplier Qaelum and its reseller FUJIFILM.
