Webinar and panel discussion: Experience in patient radiation dose management in Navarra

The webinar will give a brief overview of the management of diagnostic imaging and registration of patient doses in Navarra from 2005 to 2020. Results and conclusions.
During the discussion, the panellists will share experiences of specific cases where protocols have been optimized with the aid of a patient radiation management system.

Fernando Caudepón Moreno is a medical physicist specialized in the area of diagnostic imaging. He has worked previously in the Canary Islands Health Service, at the Burgos Hospital and has been working for 4 years at the Navarra Hospital Complex, using the Qaelum DOSE, dose management system. He has made various publications and communications to congresses on radiodiagnosis, as well as given numerous courses in this field.

Prof. Hilde Bosmans: Professor in Medical Physics in the KU Leuven & Head of Medical Physics in the Radiology Department of the University Hospitals of Leuven, Belgium.

Jurgen Jacobs: Co-founder and CEO of Qaelum, has more than 15 years of experience in radiology. He initiated the software solutions for patient dosimetry and physicotechnical quality control whilst working at the University Hospitals of Leuven.
